Today Jim and I made the trek from Fairfax, VA to Nanty Glo, PA in order to drop my frame, T Posts and tub cappings off for dipping and stripping. They do great work out at MEC and have promised to post updates on instagram. I'll link them here as they do. MEC has a great facility and can dip whole cars! We left early to avoid traffic, but its quite a drive.
With their busy schedule, it is going to take approximately six weeks to strip my frame, part of that is time sitting in the vat - some is time waiting its turn. They did a great job with my frame rear cut and bulkhead, so I have great expectations for what we'll get back.
